Thank you.

I appreciate all of you.

Tomorrow isn't promised. It's so important what we do with today. I'm thankful for another day to praise God and to say thank you. I'm so grateful.

Gratitude is an attitude; it's an expression of appreciation that comes from within your inner being. I'm grateful for the gift of friendship. I count it all joy to be blessed and fortunate enough to have crossed paths with each and every one of you during my lifetime.

Although, we don’t always see or speak to one other;  you are in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Time escapes no one; it’s important to stop every once in a while to just take a deep breath and say thank you, to appreciate all that is good and even those things that weren't so good.  And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.  Romans 8:28.

You are special and unique; let no one tell you different. You are created for purpose. I'm thankful that during my walk, I have met so many wonderful people. This means so much.

Words can’t express the joy and appreciation I feel; it’s overwhelming. Love is truly the greatest gift. Where love abides, hope resides. Thank you for your love and support over the years.

So many people go through life with blinders on; they never stop to enjoy the goodness of life.  Maybe something tragic happened in their life or perhaps they are just trying to survive the rat race.  Whatever the reason, in order to embrace the future, one must let go of the past. Life is too short to hold unto the disappointments of yesterday.   Jeremiah  29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Let's move forward to embrace God's will and purpose for our lives.  Let's appreciate all of God.  Let's appreciate one another. We have so much to be thankful for.  If you are reading this blog, that means you are alive. Life is a gift.  It's up to us what we do with it.

Measure for Measure as you have given, may it be returned unto you according to Luke 6:38. May God continue to shower you with His love, mercy and grace. May everything you touch prosper.

Much Love, Dale Birdsong

Dale's Personal Testimony. Malachi 3:10-12 "God's Provision is everlasting" Stand Firm.

Not long ago I told the Lord, “I wanted to serve Him with all that I am to be all that He called me to be.” I dedicated my life to Him to be a vessel for His glory. It’s so easy to say those words, but what follows afterwards isn’t always easy. At least I can say in all honesty, for me it hasn’t been easy; however, it is worthwhile. I wouldn’t change anything.

John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”.

God didn’t say there wouldn’t be hard times, even for those of us who call ourselves Christians. What does it truly mean to be a follower of Christ?

Some think that God is like a genie in a bottle. They rub the bottle, get three wishes and live happily ever after. The truth is that God isn’t a genie in a bottle. He is God, creator of heaven and earth. He loves us with an unconditional love. His will for us is to love, honor, and trust and obey Him. He desires like any father to give us the desires of our heart. He also knows what is best for us. He sees what we can’t see. He knows what we don’t know. The very thing we want may be the very thing that will lead us to destruction. God never forces His will upon us. He gave us free will. We can choose to serve or not serve Him. The choice is ours. What exactly does that mean? I can only speak for myself. My expectation is in the Lord. It’s not in a person, place or job. People leave. Jobs that were very stable at one time aren’t anymore; they can end in a moment’s notice. Where do you turn to? Where is your hope when the disappointments of life come to get you down?

Psalms 62: My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

You see, my hope is in the Lord. He knows my coming in and my going out. God has always been with me. He blessed me, provided for me and my sons, gave me ideas, promoted me into management positions. I was a single mother of three sons, but never a single mom, for God was and has always been a father to my children. Psalms 68:5 A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation.

I desired to serve Him more. I wanted to draw nearer to Him, for people to truly understand Who He is. I see so many who don’t even acknowledge or thank Him. If it wasn’t for God, where would I be? I know His hand of provision, protection, grace, mercy, forgiveness, redemption, deliverance and love. His love is the greatest.

In my desire to truly serve Him, I went before Him in humility, prayer and repentance. I asked Him to let my will be surrendered to His will. I asked Him according to Psalm 139:23-24. Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

My desire is to exalt God, not myself. I’m only a vessel that God uses, if He chooses to do so. I said to God that I would do all that I could to honor Him and glorify His name, so all would know that He is the God of Abraham, Israel, Jacob, our God that loves us so much that He gave His only begotten son, that we may have eternal life. John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

In doing so, I heard the Holy Spirit say to me that He was going to do a new thing. Isaiah 43:18 “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness. And rivers in the desert. The beast of the field will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen. This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.

At that moment I understood whatever I was about to go through wasn’t about me. It was to STAND like never before on His word, trust Him and obey. It was about faith. In 2010 I was laid off of my corporate job; a single mother of three sons. The Lord was with me. He blessed me, provided for me and my three sons. I saw His hand like never before. He said, it’s not the job, it’s me that provides. The job was only one means of provision. I am the ultimate source of provision. He gave me favor with the bank in regards to my home. He ordained me to be a minister for His glory. I returned to a higher contract management position at one of the largest health care providers in the state in 2011. That position ended in 2013.

The Lord is faithful. Once again, it’s not about me; it’s about Him. I’m a tither. Tithing is a covenant with God. The one that He made with Abraham. His word can’t return back void. He must do what He says He will do. When you have done all you can do STAND: I stood on God’s word and spoke the scriptures listed below out loud to Him in praise, honor, glory and boldness. I expected God to be who He said He was. I expected Him to do something. I needed Him to be God. I knew He wouldn’t let me down. I knew He would come through. I didn’t have a person to call upon. I called upon Him.

Malachi 3:10-12.
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. 11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the LORD of hosts; 12 “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the LORD of hosts.

I called upon Him according to Malachi 3:10-12. I said “LORD, I NEED YOU TO INTERVENE WITH MY MORTGAGE COMPANY AND BLESS MY BUSINESS ANOINTED GIFTS AND SERVICES THROUGH THE FRUIT OF MY LABOR. I NEED YOUR HELP. I’M NOT A LAZY WOMAN. YOU SEE MY HAND, BUT IT’S NOT ABOUT ME. IT’S ABOUT YOU. YOU TOLD ME IN YOUR WORD, IF I HONORED YOU WITH MY TITHES AND OFFERRINGS, TRY YOU NOW, YOU WOULD OPEN UP THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN AND POUR OUT BLESSINGS, YOU WOULD REBUKE THE DEVOUR FOR MY SAKE. I COME BEFORE YOU NOW TO PRAISE YOU, TO HONOR YOU, TO THANK YOU. I NEED YOU TO BE GOD. WHERE I’M WEAK YOU ARE STRONG. I STAND ON THE COVENANT THAT YOU MADE WITH ABRAHAM, JACOB AND ISACC, THE SAME COVENANT THAT I HAVE WITH YOU THROUGH MALACHI 3:10-12 AND I SAY TRY YOU NOW IN THE NAME OF JESUS. I EXPECT YOU TO BE GOD ACCORDING TO PSALMS 62. MY EXPECTATION IS IN THE LORD. MY HELP COMETH FROM THE LORD.

I prayed that prayer on a Thursday, just two days before my event with my business and ministry Anointed Gifts & Services. On Saturday, two days later, although the turnout for the event was low, my booth was busy all day with people coming in and out. From that event I was able to book an appointment to do an upcoming workshop for a senior center regarding changes to medicare and other insurance programs. On the following Tuesday, five days later, there was an envelope with a letter from my mortgage company stating I didn’t have to pay my mortgage for the remainder of the year. I began to run through the house praising God. Tell me what our God can’t do. By the way, I didn’t apply for the program they gave me. They had lost the paperwork to the previous one that I did apply to. Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever”. If God is for us, who can be against us.

For those of you are facing challenges because you said Lord, I surrender to you, “Let thy will be done” know that there isn’t any challenge greater than God. It’s not about you. It’s about God. He will bring you through. It’s for His glory. God has you. That’s His promise.

Keep the faith. Stay in prayer, seek God’s face daily. Give Him the glory. KEEP STANDING ON HIS WORD. HIS WORD WILL NOT RETURN VOID. HE WILL NOT LEAVE NOR FORSAKE YOU. HEBREWS 13:6.

Do you have Peace? "Peace Within my Soul" Inspirational Poem - Dale Birdsong ~ In loving memory.

This is a new piece of poetry titled “Peace Within my Soul”. It was written in memory of a friend who recently passed away. She was battling cancer; yet in the midst of her battle she remained joyous, happy and she had the peace of God. The Lord desires for all of us to have peace in this world so full of uncertainty and unrest at times. Do you have that peace today? Jesus is our Perfect Peace. If you like it please forward on.

Into the depths of my soul I feel your presence
It’s a feeling of peace that only comes from within
I know that you are with me wherever I go
I’m standing on top of a mountain in the greatness of your beauty, to wonderful to behold.
Your grace is sufficient, your mercy endures.
I feel your peace within my soul
I feel as if I can carry the weight of a thousand years on my shoulders
Glory to God, I don’t have to.
The weight was carried over two thousand years ago by the one that none can compare to.
In Him alone perfection came.
He is our perfect peace
From within my soul to the gates of Heaven
I feel a peace like never before
Thank you God, My Holy, magnificent and majestic Lord and Savior
What more can I ask for?
You are everything.
I found my resting place in you.
Your burden is light; your yoke is easy
Take these cares, for I freely give them to you
I have the peace of God
No more worries, no more sorrows,
Peace is within my soul

Never More, " Poetry for the soul" Happy Valentines Day

"Relationships between men and women often end in misunderstandings that could have so easily been fixed, if only they had taken the time to stop, listen, and understand each other.  That's what this piece is about."  It's a little different from how I usually write, however, the message is take time to stop and invite God in. It ends with the true Love Video on You tube.  .. " Let's not forget the greatest love of all."  John 3:16"  Have a blessed Valentines Day.

***
If I were an eagle, I would swoop down, pick you up in my beak and take you to a place
Where we could meet face to face
Lay your head on my bosom, while rubbing my fingers gently through your hair
I would allow you to speak your thoughts as I listened to let you know that I was there
As you spoke, I came to understand
That you are a man, A King in the making
Strong you stand
I need to understand that you are a man
Desiring that your woman seek to understand
Respect and honor is what you seek
If only your woman, could be humble enough to meet
I’m a woman trying to trust guided by emotions
That sways in and out until dust
As a woman my heart yearns for your love
Like on the wings of a dove
Yet I must understand that you are a man
Guided by your thoughts
Thoughts to do good,
Yet your woman doesn’t act the way she should
As an eagle I’m free to be me
As a woman I hold you in my arms, caressing you admonishing that I do understand
Yet as a woman my heart, soul and body yearns for the heart, body and soul of my man
Oh how I pray that we can find our way back to that place where peace and trinity reside
It wasn’t too long ago, that I was by your side eating ice cream, sharing dreams
As an eagle I soar away to face another day
As I leave, my caress of softness touches you beneath your heart
It releases the breath of life, prays for forgiveness of strife
Assuring that in spite of everything,
You hold the string
To my heart.
How I pray we can have a fresh start.
Never more shall my heart sway
Should you come my way
Whatever the morning brings, the eagle soars into the night.
Let tomorrow, should it come, be bright.

A new writing from Dale Birdsong in remembrance of the children at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  May prayers of comfort and peace be with the families and loves ones of those who lost their lives.
We don't have the answers to why tragic things happen.  God is with us in everything.  Everyday should be cherished as if it was our last day.  Celebrate our families, love our children, and have no bitterness in our heart towards any man or woman.  Let's remember that Jesus is the reason for the season.  I pray many blessings to everyone that reads this email.  Praise God for His mercy, grace, redemption and unconditional love.   John 3:16.

Children; giffroGo

Children are so precious and dear
A gift from God that draws us near
Near to the creator
God is the only one who can bring life to these
precious little ones
As He gives life to us all
We were once so small
God in His infinite wisdom
Created life from inside
Fearfully and wonderfully made in His image
Endowed with innocence
Blessed with joy; abounding in truth
Walking in love like Jesus above
From the top of their little heads
To the bottom of their delicate Feet
Children are truly God’s Master piece
Meant to be cherished, protected and loved
Guided by wisdom and discernment
as instructed in the Word
Forever yielding their little hands to our Father above
In prayer and love.

As Jesus said; “Suffer not the little children to come
unto me and forbid them not; for of such is the Kingdom of God."
Mark 10:14

Know that He is God "Personal Testimony"

On the wings of a dove from above
God sent His one true Love,
He sent His son to die on the cross
To redeem the lost
To sore above as an eagle
On the wings of His word which never fail
Into the gates of Hell and beyond
The word of God prevails
His word is truth which came to set the captives free
His life taken on a tree, precious blood streaming from His body
Nothing but the blood of Jesus can make us whole
The precious blood of Jesus heals the sick, breaks the bonds of oppression, depression, and addiction.
We cry out for freedom caught up in our own lusts, lies, pride and arrogance
Freedom is ours; victory is ours.
Yet, so many choose to walk in fear doubting rather then believing
Faith is the key that opens all doors
Jesus went before us to prepare a place
We are in a race
Time is of the essence, you see tomorrow may be too late.
Today is the day to receive the key to the eternal gate
Unlock the door to salvation for all mankind
It lies in a choice of free will
Satan came to rob, kill, steal and destroy
He is a deceiver of many taking God’s words disguising it to fool the very elect
Pick up the true word of God, the Holy Bible, read it and discover for yourself
John 10:10 ‘The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy: I have come that they may have Life, and have it in abundance.”

Pray today, Pray every day.
Call Him; He will answer you. “Jeremiah 33:3
Have faith to believe.
Know that He is God.
In the presence of God there is joy, peace, love, deliverance, redemption, salvation for all.
It starts with the person in the mirror; YOU.
Are you willing to make a change?

Personal Testimony; The world failed me, but through it all and only by God’s grace, I’m still in this race.  His word gives me strength to endure, love to forgive, peace to sustain, Hope to continue and faith to believe.”  What more can I ask for?  What else do I need?  With Jesus, I have everything.  Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world.  Lay it down at the altar if you haven’t already.  The battle is won.  Let’s walk in the victory through the word of Christ with faith, not doubting, not looking at circumstances, but looking at God.”  As a single mom of three sons I can’t say that life has always been easy, but I can say that God never failed us. Now that my sons are practically grown and I look back over my life, I can honestly say “Great is the peace of my children.” The joy of the Lord is our strength.  To God be the glory.  ©dale birdsong
